Well well well. Etsy sent an email this morning with new AI policies. It’s not an outright ban, but they basically said if you’re using it to deceive - including, hallelujah, AI generated patterns and recipes - you’ll be kicked out. Enforcement remains to be seen, but I’m glad to see it.

I just refunded a Kickstarter backer who received one of my books, sliced the box open, incised a long cut into the book, then said I packed it badly (among other insults) and that I should replace it free of charge. I refunded them, which drops them from the campaign.
