4. Despite the dire financial situation Sir Nishan has accepted his own pay awards - substantially in excess of what his staff have received. A substantial proportion of my colleagues are being threatened with redundancy, so please applaud my restraint in commenting on this story!

2. No compulsory redundancies doesn’t mean no redundancies (just that some are “voluntary”). 3. Unions and staff desperately keen to constructively resolve this but Sir Nishan has absented himself from any negotiations.
