A major problem I have with every film/TV/comics adaptation of Dune is that none of them look much like Bruce Pennington’s classic 1970s paperback covers of Frank Herbert’s novels. Pennington’s were the only visual take on Dune I came across in my early & impressionable teens. They’re my head canon.

The whole thing, graphics and music, reminds me of another extravagantly animated title sequence to a cheap afternoon programme, namely TVS's "cheapo things for kids to do indoors" showcase Do It.
Show PostI don't think anything symbolises the sheer amount of money sloshing around in eighties television than the incredibly elaborate, fully hand-animated title sequence to Bazaar. A daytime programme about how to save money and make-do-and-mend.
