Brilliant! I think ‘The Crystallisation of Salt at Night’ is both the most Movietone Movietone title and probably my favourite song of theirs. I will seek out the interview.

Yes - Cobain said somewhere that he thought he was eavesdropping on the Raincoats when he played their music (probably a bad paraphrase). I think Movietone are ‘closer’ to your ear - like a voice you can make meaning from, even if the words are indistinct.
