I’m reading the NY Times article about the restored version. It’s absolutely insane that The Devils was one of THREE excellent features that Russell released in 1971! When did he sleep?

Yes, first time seeing it, other than clips and stills over the years. I loved when people applauded after the sexy-nuns-have-their-way-with-Jesus-statue sequence.
