I anticipate the 2028 GOP primary to look like the 2016 Democratic primary, where the field gets cleared for a deeply flawed establishment favorite who's spent too much time in elite circles and faces a stronger than expected challenge from an insurgent

The Toyotas are still just about pulling away from the Ferraris in the more-or-less dry conditions so this race does look fairly over, though there's still plenty of questions about tyre degradation to answer. Hartley did just lose about two seconds to everyone in, presumably, traffic, though.
