Yuuuuuuuuuuuup. I've mentioned before that when I was, like, 10, my IQ was very important to me. The older I've become the more I've recognized IQ is, if not just plain nonsense, then a wildly limited way to understand how one's brain gets along in the world and with other humans.

The sad & enraging thing about what would happen if most of us suddenly inherited or won a decent sum of money (say, 20-30K) is that the majority of people would either Use it to pay off existing bills Or Save it in case of future emergencies/bills I don't think most would spend it frivolously
