incredible that you can thanklessly work on something for 22 years and then be retroactively declared a hack because you used AI to do something that would otherwise be intractable for a single human to do in a timely fashion lotta cutting off your nose to spite your face in the replies here

I'd add that Anthropic specifically has a deal with xAI/musk to use their extremely-horrendous Colossus datacenter Of the main AI companies, xAI is the worst, followed by Anthropic, then OpenAI

Rick is being really really obtuse and Ai-headed in the comments here to anyone critical of AI usage Claude is everything but "clean room reverse engineering". It's the reason why many emulators and high-stakes reverse-engineering projects like asahi linux and such refuse to utilize it.

That's the reasonable take on this. It's not AI slop. It's not like I have an "AI" button on my keyboard that I just kept pressing until it looked right (e.g. Stable Diffusion -- sure it's a fun app, but definitely not "art"). It took as long as it did specifically because I was watching+correcting
