Being an artist in these times were AI is everywhere feels like having magic powers. You have the power to create something that comes from your soul and is not generated. That's amazing and I am glad I can create and animate my ideas, I hope artists will keep creating in those dark times.

I was a bit flip about it earlier, but I am honestly really bummed out that Bioware is going away - for all its faults, because Mass Effect had such a formative impact on me as a game series. It's really stuck with me in how I think about art and stories and worldbuilding in a fundamental way. Man.
Show PostI'm still kinda absorbing it right now and will probably have more Mass Effect related thoughts as time passes but for now its just kinda:
Show PostThe one semi-serious thought I will have about Mass Effect right now is that Garrus Vakarian was - no joke - the first domino to fall in the long chain that would lead to me accepting that I was bisexual. So, chock that one up to Bioware.
