I personally enjoy having a private and physical music sources at the head of my hifi. Vinyl and CD with HD / USB for mixtapes etc. My amp does BT and IP connectivity too, but I get enough streaming when driving and using a Bluetooth speaker or headphones around the house, garden and workshop.

I have a PS4 with a perfectly capable optical drive, but since Sony nerfed their device on purpose to hock a subscription service that doesn't even exist anymore, I can't use it as a hifi optical-out audio player. Sony has a history of enshitifying their products for shortsighted reasons. : \
