My art teacher told me having references was cheating and I should always paint from my imagination/memory. Which is a terrible thing to do to a kid with aphantasia. They also never suggested there was work in being artistic other than being an art teacher.

I have very strong aphantasia 🤔 roleplay doesn't feel much affected except i do tend to over-describe visually While headspace and hypno feels difficult, like i had a hypnotist and everything and induction, triggers, etc would not stick more than an hour + I'd have to rub my eyes for "swirls"

I am not watching Kelley cry about aphantasia, but as one of the resident feed watchers with aphantasia, it is legit not a big deal at all! I legit just thought “picturing” things in your mind was just a figure of speech until 5 years ago! Now do I wish my brain would shut up at times? Yes #bb27
