Have you noticed the lesser vocabulary in current songs? I noticed rap becoming more monosyllabic a while back.

i think i'm avoidant to new shows and music because they are all edited and tuned to appeal to people who's sensibilities are younger than mine. like, there's a lot of shit that happens in a show now where i realize that this is what young people need to get off their phones and engage.
