but there's such a thing as polyamory that isn't based around couples making grudging exceptions, it's an actual network of relationships. at this point my poly network feels more like an extended family where all the "cousins" get together for holidays and birthdays

do people understand that there are polyamorous relationships where everyone hangs out together? not for orgies or intense emotional processing but for, like, potlucks ...I hate protesting that we aren't sexual like that's a defense. let's say we aren't *just* sexual

I *also* don't care if you swing or fuck around consensually but I hate seeing opinions about polyamory from people who assume it's all about sex and drama and jealousy when, of course, it's really about board games designed for 3-6 players
