Over a period of six months this past year, the Mali cataloging team at HMML was able to add around 85,000 manuscripts to HMML’s online Reading Room (vhmml.org)—work that otherwise could have taken a decade to complete manually. Learn more: hmml.org/stories/innovations-in-mali-cataloging-work

What is more interesting is why there isn't a paper/history about this published. TBH, I chose not to. Any write up would come across as an attack on the BL and its staff, when it is years of underinvestment which is the issue - this is a governmental support problem. When enough time has passed (+)
