Well, the MAGA worldview says We the People are not sovereign, electing public servants to represent us. Donald Trump is sovereign, the living embodiment of the state, the rest of us his subjects. Therefore, ads to promote him are by definition promoting the country itself, and that isn't partisan.

The Jesus of the Bible tells us to love our enemies and serve the powerless. The made-up Jesus of today tells us to defeat our enemies and puts his followers in power positions. The former is Christianity. The latter is a power cult masquerading as Christianity.

Note that when the Bible describes how God wants foreigners to be treated and not to be mistreated, there is no concept in the text about checking their papers first to see whether or not they are to be treated like humans instead of like animals. If you hate them, you didn’t get that from God.
