48 years old. Did OK in the city. House, car, place abroad etc. Outwardly perfect life. Truly miserable 90% of the time. Only ever happy when I'm sat on the sofa, just me and the dog - sharing cheesestrings and watching TOTP2 on YouTube.

I don't think they made a single dud, tbh

loving 40 best of 1986 TOTP, takes me back to the era when 120bpm +/- 5pm was standard. fast forward 40 years to the era of big stadium techno (see Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens etc), and you're looking at 140bpm +/- 5bpm. which is also fun, tbh: youtu.be/jxTbsW1Isjw?...

The Song Exploder episode exploring the history of "Take On Me," and the band's path leading them to its success, is delightful and worth a listen. songexploder.net/a-ha
