I’ve been on four juries, from triple homicide to civil case. My primary takeaway is that juries get very serious during deliberations, esp when a defendant’s freedom may be taken away. I’m a believer in our system.

(PS Lori, you mean "selective prosecution" not "malicious prosecution". Malicious prosecution requires that there not be an actual underlying crime, whereas selective prosecution does not. Throwing a sandwich at someone *is* actually illegal, is the difference.)
