Emily's already given you the data: around 90% of rape victims are female, and men are 98% of people sentenced for sexual offences. That's the evidence for single-sex wards. Saying trans women should be the exception is your claim, so the burden of proof is on you.
Show PostYou've asked for data all afternoon. Emily gave it to you. Now you want her to prove your argument for you as well? That's not how it works. You want the exception, you show the evidence.
Show PostThanks Steven. To be clear, I quoted Brownmiller to show not all feminists think it's purely cultural. I lean towards culture, maybe mixed with some biology. Either way, the cause doesn't change the policy. We know the pattern, so we safeguard against it.
Show PostIt doesn't assume they act the same. The rule is sex-based, and there's no data showing trans women differ from other males. When you don't know, you don't gamble with vulnerable patients. "No data" argues for caution, not an exemption. I'll leave it there.
Show PostGLP's hope-mongering is cruel. It keeps people like you donating to cases that won't deliver. The only way to change things is through politics.
