Do you have a problem with adjectives in general? Is it divisive to describe people as ginger or brunette or blonde? Tall or short? What makes the adjective "cis" so different? Couldn't be that it signifies not presuming an unspoken default. No way would seeing yourself as marked be uncomfortable.
