i have no idea what i'm going off about btw and so many grains of salt. this isn't saying anything about him or anyone, please don't take it as such, its just someone i've had wiggling around in the back of my brain that keeps coming back up

like there was a conscious decision to have that scene but instead of a fun "party boy blackout lol" someone made a call to deepen eyebags, flatten even the already minimal colour in the mv, and his expression to just be so...empty. its quick, jarringly at odds with the vibe, n then gone again, idk

verse 2 of tunnel mentions "days soaked in alcohol", then here there's this thing right after he throws booze off the barrel where despite the hype party boy aesthetic, he looks off when he "passes out". its quick but imo intentional bc they actually /redid his makeup/ to appear miserable n unwell 😞

thinking about mingi saying a while back that he doesn't really drink anymore and then thinking abt the fact that whenever alcohol features in his lyrics or mvs there's almost always one snapshot moment amongst even the wildest party where he in some way associates that alcohol with misery...yeah...
