This is machine learning, trained for a specific task, not large scale general LLM like Claude. It's also a single study.

Re this whole conversation about the UK and racism I feel two things can be true: 1. The UK is not exceptionally racist whatsoever - in fact in many ways it probably one of the less racist countries in the world 2. Patting ourselves on the back for being 'the least racist country' is questionable

as AI reporting goes this isn't bad but I think we can do better. First of all, it would be good to make it clear that this has almost nothing to do with language models. Second, it would be good to explain what exactly "predict cancer survival" means in practical terms.
