life is a test of what we do with our power, and you failed then. but as your power has grown, signs pointed to much more conscientious usage. so my question is, should we expect more to come? I wouldn't, based on what you put out into the world. but. we are all our best and worst selves, always.

because it was dealt with 10 years ago, between him, the victim, and the school. the victim wished for it to not be publicized. this only became public when someone posted it on twitter without the victim's consent

furthermore, I do have a reasonable doubt in my mind that the crime was as severe as some imagine. we would like to believe sexual assault is a black and white issue, but the reality is unfortunately complicated and muddy. we shouldn't assume the worst that SA could mean, is all I'm saying.
