My mom got on my ass alot for speaking in ebonics cuz its "not proper" or "you sound like a ghetto child" or somethin like dat She would genuinely be happy i didn't hang out with other black kids cuz " they are dangerous to you and will get you killed". did not have good self-esteem i tell ya lol

Hell yeah all dialects are proper! Linguistics are fascinating and I think a lot of aave and other Black dialects and accents are some of the most beautiful!
