btw a small cabal of (anti-) psychiatrists are now arguing for full abolition of autism diagnosis on the basis that fonagy recs incentivise diagnosis more upshot would be 20-30% of autistic people getting alt diagnoses (learning disability/communication disorder/both) and the rest disenfranchised
