I honestly kinda stopped paying attention to Wow Lore after Shadowlands, I stopped playing after Wrath, but I paid attention to the story. But at that point the mixture of how, they just feel like they don't know how to write the horde in a nuance way and the sheer power creep.

You should try out medical transition for literally any reason and you can quit for any reason or continue for any reason, the science behind it isn't complex and honestly good to know even if you don't plan to transition. You should try HRT for 3ish months just because and see how you feel about it
