AI people seem to be of the opinion that it's unreasonable to expect them not to use the thing that makes the project take a fraction of the time to complete but that you have to treat them the same way you would have if it had taken a long time. You can't really have it both ways.

I don't know about love of the game. if anything they're showing they love AI more than they love Quake or the community. Regardless of the quality of the software, they're using openly uncaring services to make this thing and making people agree to a strange thing to install it.
