@arktypeio.bsky.social@arktypeio.bsky.social → @arktype.ioI've made a bunch of different examples for how to use my Content Layer @vite.dev plugin with various frameworks: @reactrouter.com, @remix.run, @tanstack.com, @redwoodjs.com, @valibot.dev, @arktype.io, Waku, and Zod
Show Postomg. I finally have a use case for @arktype.io. I want to add structured output to my LLM CLI github.com/david-crespo... but I need a maximally concise way to specify a schema as a string. this is incredible. below it just returns the JSONSchema and exits, will plumb it through in a minute
Show PostInspired by @arktype.io's ArkRegex, I made a @valibot.dev validation action for regex. It parses your regex at compile time and narrows the output type to match. Zero runtime overhead. Thanks @fabianhiller.com! "(GET|POST)" becomes the TypeScript union "GET" | "POST" - exhaustive switches and all.
Show PostThe type engine has budgets to keep things useful. [a-f]{4} technically has 1,296 values but a 1,296-member union in a hover tooltip helps nobody. Small ranges and low repeats get expanded precisely; anything past that widens to string. "At worst imprecise, never incorrect," to quote @arktype.io
Show PostBig update from the Prisma Next roadmap: April’s milestone is complete. The extension API is now open to outside authors, with pgvector, @arktype.io, ParadeDB, and CipherStash already showing what’s possible.
