There's so many layers to that stupid trend too. Apparently even the person behind the trend itself is also a terrible person. Even the name of the trend itself is also based on a misogynistic term. And yet people ignored all this to get internet clout. Intentional or not, they should have known.

I personally didn’t care that much about the trend in general (hopefully artists get their bag) but Harry Potter in general has such a nasty vibe around it now that I don’t get how people participate

Not to beat a dead horse but i think people who say the Malfoy trend doesnt give JKR money so who cares need to consider Gacha companies comm artists all the time and theres no link to the game or anything the art itself is a positive promotion
