I believe most new warping paddles are plastic. Very nice!

I was on vacation in Latvia in May. The warp is a single wool thread from a local factory, Latvian wool. About sock yarn weight. I bought quite a few skeins while I was there, beautiful colours - it’s not merino, so it’s not extra soft. But I’m sure it’ll make a nice warm and cozy shawl.

Love the way this scarf worked out! Made with Haute Knit Yarn in the colorway ‘Big Hair Don’t Care’ (love the name!). Used Sock yarn (merino) and mohair lace weight. The finished scarf is so lightweight but incredibly warm! (Just what we need in the middle of summer!😆) #handmade #weaving #scarf
