And I wasn't. Because this NPC was insulting my character about a variety of things, including aspects that were not intentional parts of the character at all, they were things that were bleeding through from me, the player. To say I was pretty fucked up after that session is an understatement.
Show PostSeeing some clips of Critical Role and D20 recently just made me realise how heated roleplay moments are meant to be treated. Multiple times in the past an NPC or something has gone in on my character and there was no check in from anyone else, nobody making sure I, the player was okay.
