That would fit w those posts the other day by Chris Hooks, where he said Texas Repubs had shared numbers from their internals that he described as “demented” & so crazy he didn’t think it would be responsible to share them.

Yougov found the same thing with their likely voter screen: filtering by those who are registered and say they are certain to vote produced D margins so large that they didn't believe it and loosened the screen. yougov.com/en-us/articl...
