at some point when this brief is done, I need to type up my proudest Navy moment. 2-7 bridge watch with a buddy, seeing a "hey that's weird" tiny blip on radar that we could have ignored, going to investigate, and eventually pulling about 80 African migrants out of their sinking boat in the Med.
