I do think we have to be reasonable and somewhat understanding. I do care who people voted for. I really do. There are still people resisting. People causing good trouble. These are the people that still give me hope for America. We can be cautious but we don’t have to have sweeping disdain.

I don't think blanket statements about Americans is how we all feel. We feel a sense of hope when we see the protests and would like to see a lot more. I understand the feeling of helplessness. I think when we can get a handle on the dictator and his threats we will feel better.
