My first car was a dark green ‘72 HQ Kingswood wagon, which was already 12 or 13 years old when I got it. Ripped the front bench seat out, put in a pair of bucket seats from a smashed SLR 5000 at a wreckers, roof racks for boards, slept in the back, job done. 🏄‍♂️👍

I have fond memories of the short drive to the Western Oval in my grandfather’s Holden Kingswood. He used to park in the car park across the road from the Sims Supermarket and we’d walk down Barkly Street to the ground to watch the mighty Dogs. Happy times.
