I cut my teeth in NOLA and then lived in LA for 5 years. So many people told me that LA was full of assholes and my response is there are 18M people here and if you can’t find any good ones then YOU are the problem. “Hollywood” is way more than SoCal. The merger will hurt media workers across the US

Yes, thank you. Like any industry where there's the appeal of money and fame, entertainment draws its share of creeps, but this is a tired stereotype. Even some fancy executive types are some of the kindest people I've known.

Actually, as somebody who works in the business and occasionally in Hollywood, there are more decent people in Hollywood than not. So please stop pushing the stereotype.
