So looking at these charts, there's been no decline in going to the gym with friends; minor decline in going to entertainment venues with friends; significant decline in going to restaurants/bars/clubs, both alone and with friends; moderate decline in sports with friends, huge rise in solo sport

again I find that fascinating though - if I still lived with parents in my twenties (I can't even bear to imagine doing so now in my thirties) you best believe I'd aim to be out of the house every breathing moment of every day (no offence to my parents, who are v nice people)
