October is breast cancer awareness month. Fun fact: Pressure from mammograms do not "pop" an existing tumor & spread it. Why? Because breast tumors (eg. DCIS) are composed of cells that form connective tissue. They are literally disorganized solid masses of cells mixed w/dense fibrous tissue.🧪
