Thank you for those thoughts. My chapbook draft makes me feel not excitement, not fear, but sadness. A sense of being caught inside my own narrative, maybe. A sense of absence. It brings peace to imagine waiting a few years, gathering all poems into a collection. Your books have beautiful openness.💙

Partly plotted but mostly letting the plot spin itself out. The one book I plotted meticulously scene by scent took almost 20 years to finish the first draft, then another 20 to publish. I wish plotting in advance was the way, but in my last 4 books, it hasn't been.

the thing i like so much about this idea is that i can send the whole daw and every plugin to people I am writing music with and never worry about whether they have, or can get, the same setup as me it would greatly simplify the process of writing music with other people
