This is the most fundamental fact about advocating for marginalized people that everyone gets wrong. You have to be willing to exclude the people and viewpoints intent on dehumanizing you. Making every "inclusive" space a battleground undermines its own goals.

It has been funny watching normal action games claw themselves out of souls mechanics again. It's gonna be weird when future action games have Monster Hunter 3 as its foundation rather than DMC or a SEGA 3D arcade brawler.

It saved us from Arkham-slop at least but it is disappointing action games needed to be dumbed down to "right trigger right arm swing" for melee combat to get explosively popular.
