I interviewed Johnny Marr in 2015 (he was great, wearing blue varnish, and gave me a plectrum for my then 1-year-old) and I’ve been loving the JM content tsunami of late (although wishing I was part of it!). Also: does anyone know why he hasn’t been on Desert Island Discs yet? He has to be!

Today my 13-year-old son told me he doesn’t want his Phoenix (comic) subscription anymore – he’s had it since his was 7 – and it was the most upset I’ve ever got about a ’he’s getting older’ milestone. Like proper crying my eyes out (away from him, obviously), lol
