Yep. The mantra for the NLL for the decade or so before was all about expansion. But I wonder if there isn’t merit in getting all 12 of these owners on the same page for growing the revenue in these 12 markets, get to a full time model, and then expand from there with owners invested at that level.

I just get whiplash from the strategy. First it was steaming and revenue on BR. Then it was linear exposure on TSN and ESPN. Then it was visibility on NLL+. Now we are back to streaming and revenue. Do we not need to give some of these more than 1-2 seasons to evaluate? I get fail fast but still.

NLL+ was intended to show what audience was there for the NLL. Owners stopped wanting to pay for it fast, which is why it quietly went the way of the dodo this offseason. Arguably the worst thing about the NLL is its various owners, who all have different agendas and tolerances for losing money.
