Woah! 94% of faculty/academic professionals and 94% of staff in the 2 PCC unions voted to strike. What a mandate!! I really wonder how the administration is going to respond, but if they continue offering us basically crumbs, it sounds like both unions are really going to strike together!

In a historic action, both federations at PCC have voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike! This does not mean a strike begins now, but that our unions are organized and ready to fight for a fair contract. #solidarityforever #wefixpcc

The testimony last night was unlike anything I've ever seen before. The grief and rage of students, faculty, and staff was palpable. Calling out board members and administrators by name, reading their own words back to them. Incredibly powerful, courageous stuff. I'm proud to stand with them ✊
