It was absolutely ace. We saw several shooting stars and some satellites absolutely belting across the night sky, in a 10 minute stop in the middle of nowhere, leaning on the windscreen of car.
Show PostI’ve always wanted to see the Milky Way; once went on a star gazing thing at Dalby Forest but it was cloudy, and whenever I’m in dark sky areas I always forget - but last night on the way home from a Dales holiday, we stopped and I saw it! Pic taken with my phone which, obvs, doesn’t do it justice
