Turner Classic Movies is running the Exorcist II: The Heretic along with the documentary on the production Boorman and The Devil. They make for a great double feature. The movie raising the questions and the doc providing the answers. Two thumbs up. #filmsky

Waited til evening for my Friday #LastFourWatched so I could include my matinee screening of THE DEVILS. Might say this week made for variations on a theme.

Boorman and The Devil (2025, dir. David Kittredge) A documentary that essentially serves as an autopsy for Exorcist II, and a testament to the fact that artists should swing for the fences with their ambitions. Funny that The Heretic isn’t the worst or even second worst Exorcist film. 8/10
