It really does become a meme at a certain point how the game treats alliance heroes vs horde (or horde aligned fantasy) ones? They want stakes but they can only death shock factor narratively unfulfilling thematically empty ones?

“It’s about individuals becoming paladins, not a racial story” is so so so boring imo A random character doing some dnd personal story being a hand wave for the class combo is so much flatter than creating a racial order that expands and deepens the setting. Easiest example: Legion Delas vs GAREK
