90s diet culture really fucked up a whole generation of women, didn’t it? It makes me so angry that my first thought upon seeing a picture of my daughter & me after a moderate 2-mile hike is that I hate how I look, not that we just did something great together. I have to work too hard to reframe.

The worst part about traveling is having to sleep without my weighted blanket. My blanket at home weighs 20 pounds, and I simply do not sleep the same unless I feel like I’m on the brink of being smothered to death.
