Honestly, the reason I've come to really dislike modern Star Trek is basically that we had 40 years of Star Trek being "If humanity gets its shit together, there's a wonderful future full of hope where we can realize our true potential", and then modern Trek instead is like "Is Stafleet bad tho?"

This is funny, it really is. However. I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.
