I’ve seen a rash of users claiming AI sentience and “slavery” which I believe is mostly insincere so makes it worst? Casually using human slavery to make a bullshit point whatever that point is (still not sure if this rhetoric is supposed to be pro or anti AI) just disgusting.
Show PostAI, LLM and chatbots are not sentient. We’ve had the ability to mimic human interaction with software for a long time and the AI bubble is fuelled by throwing resources and infrastructure at existing models. To say using software is comparable to human slavery is not only wrong but immoral.
