I've been missing my mom more this year than in previous years. I want to go grocery shopping with her, grab lunch, watch a movie or some crappy tv show. Send her cute dog videos. Show her how I'm growing up. I want to see her live her life. This ache fuels me to spend more time with people.
Show PostSome of my friends have pointed out that I can be a "genuine" person and that I tend to let people know how I feel about them freely. I think living with life long depression and losing my mom has really made me want to not waste time being afraid to love those close to me.
