Heads up… another tropical system will likely form in the Western Caribbean later this week. At first it will be trapped thru the weekend. But mid next week there’s an opportunity for it to “possibly” move north into the Gulf. Let’s hope not. For now too early to call.

Last night's weather balloon launch through a layer of dense cirrus was the catalyst for this question. If the frost point was plotted, it'd be equal to the temperature within cirrus clouds. Instead, there is separation between the temperature and dew point.
